So I recently stayed here because I was in town for work. Booked for 3 nights at 377… from 10-17-25 to 10-20-25 .. okay so I get there and the clerk proceeds to tell me there is a $30 incidental fee so that would be $90 . I booked through booking and it said there would only be a $20 deposit.. red flag number one … so i said okay because I needed somewhere to stay and I had already paid $377 so I wasn’t going anywhere else at that time.. luckily the credit card machine wasn’t working so she waived it for me .. I was grateful and I went to my room. When I get in there I noticed hair on the floor , where the room hadn’t been swept . So since she looked at for me I went downstairs and asked her if she could just get it clean for me because I didn’t want to hassle her . She cleaned it herself. Then upon my leaving Sunday to go out so house keeping could come in and clean , I noticed my car was broken into. Since nothing of value was taking I filed a report with the hotel . Upon returning to the room I noticed hair still on the floor and now a dead bug in the bathroom trash can . Went downstairs and let the clerk know and they told me that he would talk to his manager about getting me a refund and that she would reach out to me Monday, So that is why I didn’t press the issue. So I was waiting to hear from the hotel manager, nothing.. I even called and every time I called she was either gone or she didn’t answer.. booking even reached out to her and they was told she wasn’t there either .. so I had to get off work early to go up there myself.. the lady at the front desk , think her name was Linda was very rude and thought the situation was funny.. but I didn’t go there for that I just wanted to talk to the manager.. so when I was discussing what happened she first told me that she didn’t know what I was talking about until the clerk said yes you do those are the pictures I sent you.. then she magically remembered..

From the moment I walked in, it was obvious that the housekeeping and facilities were well maintained. The room was spotless — crisp linens, shiny surfaces, no dust in sight. It felt welcoming and fresh. The staff were friendly and attentive, making check-in smooth and easy. The bed was comfy and the room layout was practical, giving me plenty of space to relax. Even the bathroom was excellent: clean tile, a strong shower, and all essentials provided. Location-wise it was convenient, which made transitioning between exploring and returning to the hotel effortless. And after a long day, it was a relief to come back to such a tidy, comfortable environment. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely stay here again. If you’re seeking a hotel that delivers on cleanliness, comfort, and friendly service — this one is a great choice.

I liked everything. Very short overnight stay.

While the hotel itself is modern and comfortable, it is located in a downtrodden -- and quite possibly dangerous -- section of the city. Just within a few blocks of the hotel, I saw at least a half-dozen homeless or shady characters. A lot of loitering going on in the vicinity. At check-in, I mentioned that I was a Gold member and asked if they had any water or snacks. "We ran out of water earlier in the day," the associate said. Huh? You ran out of water? Breakfast might have been an all-time worst for my Hilton stays over the past 25 years. No eggs, bacon, waffles. Nothing hot at all -- unless you want to use boiling water to make oatmeal. No bananas or apples. No yogurt. At checkout, I mentioned that I was in an end room and slept poorly because I was awakened a few times during the night by a loud noise coming from the side of the room facing the stairwell. The associate didn't seem concerned. Didn't make a note of it or even suggest it could be investigated. The only reason I stayed here was because it was NASCAR Darlington weekend and my usual options were booked months before my stay. You can -- and should -- do much better in Florence.

I booked a room at the Comfort Inn and Suites. I booked a Family room with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed that slept 6. I paid extra for the larger family room with breakfast included. When I got there they said they were no longer Comfort Inn and they were now Sparks. I proceeded to check into my room and there was no sofa bed. We were one bed short. They said they are not offering couches now and refused to do anything about my issue with the room . My nephew had to sleep on the floor. Breakfast....well there was none. They also charged me extra for a dog that I did not have. I had to put in a dispute with my credit card company.
