Motel 6-Anaheim, CA - Maingate

The location was the best part of the property. There was nothing else that we liked. Nothing.

Terrible stay. The room smelled like cigarette smoke, was musty and humid, and had no ventilation and bathroom exhaust fan. The wall AC unit did not work well, barely any air coming from it so we had to buy our own fan. We found a large cockroach, and the room and bathroom did not feel clean. Lighting was poor, and being charged nearly $50 for two nights of parking as hotel guests was ridiculous. Extremely disappointing—we will never stay here again.

When I was waiting to speak to the front desk, the desk lady asked the person in front of me what floor she would want her room. The lady told her she didn’t care when I was the first in line. I asked her if I can get the first floor and she told me no, she wanted to get me a first floor that had a door in the middle to another door that was occupied with another family and then I told her you asked the other lady what floor she wanted and she told you she didn’t care but when I’m asking you to give me the first floor you don’t want to and the room you wanna give me is a conjoint room and she just stared at me.I didn’t fight or argue I just walked away grab my key the sink in the bathroom was not working very well couldn’t brush your teeth there we had to turn on the shower literally drips of water. It would only come out.

Love the location , love the pool jacuzzi, love how close you can walk to garden walk, disney

I don’t like that when I book the reservation , when I got there they said we had pay for parking , on the website I didn’t see that or I missed that , because if I would seen that on There I wouldn’t of book at this hotel
