Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh New Stanton

The room was dirty, the bathroom had several areas of long hair in the shower, and along the floor. The night attendant kindly came and wiped down the floor for me. There was no bathmat, no body lotion, incredibly disappointed, and hard to associate this with my previous experience with Mariott. You’ve lost my business. I’m staying at another chain tonight, and La Quinta has exceeded your brand beyond words.

It was fine.

The location was good

The staff was noisy. The breakfast was very salty. They double charged me for my room and it took three phone calls to straighten it out. I came back to my room the second day and my room had not been touched- no clean towels, garbage not emptied. I requested that my room be cleaned. I came back the third day around 7 pm and still nothing. I had to request clean towels and garbage empty again.

Staff were great, bed was great, but building shows signs of wear. The suite built-in cabinet had water damage and dents, wallpaper was peeling at one spot, tub looked rough. I think the building must have been purchased and refurbished. Most of the Fairfields were built by Marriott and are spotless. I’ll stay at Hampton next time I’m in New Stanton.

Expensive for a dive like hotel trying to be high end..Rug was sticky..tv didn’t work.. trash and dirt in room.. tub didn’t drain..that’s gross— and when we told front desk they were aware of the sticky carpet and tv and tub.. others had the same issues. Should have been offered a refund.

Ehh…it was a place to sleep. Bed was comfortable and the tv worked. Breakfast was included and wasn’t bad. The bathroom kept this from a higher score. Holding the toilet handle down for 10 seconds gives you time to think about life. The duct tape on the shower rod distracts you from standing in two inches of water. Did I mention the breakfast was good.
