Drury Inn & Suites Memphis Southaven

Room size was as advertised. Breakfast was good. Staff was accommodating.

I think the hotel was well built. The photos are very true to what it is. I loved the fact they have hot breakfast and a kick back. I was pleasantly surprised because when I booked, I didn't understand the kick back thing. I think the two elevator system was great. The one shining star of the whole visit was the night desk lady. Tameeka I think her name was. She made my day. I loved her. She deserves a raise. She had to man handle some of the hooligan boys who were causing a ruckus. She handled them with grace and made me laugh after a day of boys being boys.

This is partly my fault, we just moved to the area, we booked the room and found out the rate was ...extremely high because of the baseball tournament. We went to this hotel for this hotel but one night, it was very difficult to use the pool because everyone in their mother was in the pool. It's not a large pool. I also put in a special request, nothing huge, just asked for the couch to be pulled out into a bed by the time we got there because it was my 12 year old's birthday but it wasn't done BUT they didn't acknowledge the request so it might just been missed. but the biggest issue wasn't even something the hotel could have forseen. Baseball tournemnt, the rates went up. The only reason we went was because the pool and reasonable rates, but they were jacked up. Not the hotels fault. they had sooo many people staying. but we couldnt change weekends. The baseball groups were causing ruckus.. They ruined the pool space, left towels and food and trash around the pool room. They even left trash in the elevator. This was totally not the hotels fault so I would love a chance to stay again for a true review. I just wish I had known that it was going to be filled with teenage boys.

Need some USB plugs, the toilet is kind of short, knees are bad and need a handicap bars

The breakfast was more adequate than any other that I have experienced.
