Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Chicago St. Charles

Super nice hotel staff at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was OK, same food three days in a row, decent but not much variety. The coffee station was empty two of the four times I tried to use it Unfortunately, the biggest issue was that our room fell short of expectation based on prior Marriott stays. Our first room had an overwhelming kitty litter smell; our room was switched and the second had the same smell, but not as strong. The room decor was shabby, not chic - framed pictures beat up and chipped, brown streaks on the walls, worn out chrome bathroom fixtures.

On March 27, 2026, I booked this hotel for a one night stay on March 28, 2026. I chose the wrong state. Called the hotel and they refused to refund my money because of the mistake.

The location was great to where I was attending a conference

The walls were especially thin and we could hear our neighbor snoring.

Sehr gute Lage für unser Vorhaben und sehr freundliches Personal. Für amerikanische Verhältnisse ein gutes Frühstück.
