Deer Creek Lodge & Conference Center

The walls and door frames were dirty in our room.Rokms were very dated.The beds were absolutely terriable stiff as a board!. We honestly contiplated checking out early but since its non refundable and its not cheap we decided to tough it out. The bedding and 1 thin blanket u recieve on the bed is stiff and had seen better days. Although the staff was friendly and the was plenty to do to keep you out of the room itself. Rafters was very slow service , took a very long time to be noticed and guests to be seated. I look forward to camping there this summer but i wont stay in the lodge . It was not worth what i paid for unfortunately.

I grew up in the area and to be honest the Lodge has seen better days. Carpet was frayed and a paint job would certainly help. I lugged all my things to my room after check-in....and my keys didn't work. Ooops.

It was ok we stayed an extra 2 days but had to move to another cottage which means we had to pack all of our stuff up just to take it all back in another cottage. I was pretty upset about that

Was ok, definitely needs a face lift. Room was clean. Employees not real friendly. Was given absolutely no additional info at check in about anything. No Microwave in room. Restaurant ok, but could definitely use some additional entree choice's that is more than just seafood!! For being the only restaurant,I expect better overall.

The man working at the checkin desk was extremely rude to the people in front of me. Short and dismissing of me. The air conditioning was not working, 87 in the room for my first 2 hours. Called the front desk, same man wouldnt answer. Left a message and after 2 hours walked back up for him to say he put in a worknorder. When real⁵y he never had..am. Im pregnant and

The cabin we got was okay but definitely not clean like when I did house keeping there was only 2 blankets for 4 beds the fridge def needed cleaned a lot better just the cabin all together could of been cleaned a lot better the bunk beds were kinda falling apart the screen and the doors to the back deck thing were really dirty I paid a lot to stay here and the kids had fun but I was kinda disappointed I spent almost 200 dollars for it couldn’t check in til 4 and out by 10 am and it def wasn’t as nice as it looked in the pictures

The lodge has such potential and the grandkids loved the pool. When checking in I never got a welcome, smile or any info about our cabin. When we got into cabin the floors were sticky, shower disguisting to the point we went to the store and bought bleach and cleaned it. I understand that staff may be minimal due to Covid but cleanliness and a smile go a long way!!

The level of service from the front desk (Zenia), to the boating dock (Beth), the gift shop and the restaurant was outstanding! Everyone did their job always with a smile; such awesome friendliness! The grounds were pretty clean of litter, but there were a lot of spider webs everywhere. And while our room at the lodge was dated, the a/c worked fine and the beds were comfortable. Overall, we had a very nice stay.

The lodge is beautiful. The lake is nice and clean. Pools were maintained properly. - Last night there, there was no hot water. So no shower after swimming in the pool. No microwave in the room.

It could’ve been better. Maybe I was expecting too much. However, the room didn’t feel clean. It felt stagnant. Dead bugs in a few places and the condition is just poor. It needs renovated severely. We also were disappointed with the lounge being closed both nights of our stay. With being so far out, those kind of amenities are important. I felt as if the staff knew the lounge wasn’t going to be open on Saturday upon check-in but still said it would open at 5. With check in at 4, I believe the staff already knew it would be closed. The hallways and stairwells looked dirty like they hadn’t been vacuumed recently as well as trash just laying around. It is also extremely loud with the sliding doors. The people above us were going in and out and it was extremely noisy.
