AC Hotel by Marriott Nice

Location was good. Lobby area was nice. Cleanliness

Under sink pipes were leaking in both rooms - these were fixed once we notified staff. There were empty cups outside rooms in the corridor which were not picked up for several days. Turn down in the evenings was not done every night. Lack of towels and toilet paper. The valet nearly drove into us on Wednesday evening as he was coming out of the car park and would not give way to us going in. No one on concierge to take our bags down on leaving. Instant refusal of a room when my partner wanted to do a conference call for an hour however they offered one after. Rooftop staff were rude when we had a drink as we had one bag of crisps with us. We had breakfast just twice and not even offered a refund for the ones we did not have. We stay in Marriotts all over the world and this has been the most disappointing one in terms of service and value for money. No one was prepared to go above and beyond. We stayed in the JW Marriott Cannes prior to staying at the AC and their service was excellent nothing was too much trouble. Really disappointed overall as when we arrived the gentleman was so friendly and said nothing was too much trouble as they are available 24/7.

A stay worth of money. Walking distance from the city’s downtown and just near the sea. A wonderful staff and clean rooms.

The rooms are a bit outdated and the basic rooms view is to a courtyard.

Paper cups for tea and coffee. I would expect proper ceramic cups for the standard of hotel. Limited mirrors. Would benefit from an additional mirror above the desk area for hair and make up. Bar prices were over priced.

Family rooms are not always available in every hotel,this was pro. The hotel is very close to Promenade and the seashore. The breakfast was excellent and very clean
