"Good"

The breakfast - the milk was expired . We did not try anything else after that. The heater kept clicking on every 10 minutes and refrigerated ran most of the time. Not too sanitized! Would not recommend. Was planning to stay in Dubuque another night but would not stay at this hotel.

Pet friendly

The room overall was fairly clean but the coffee pot still had coffee in it with mold growing. The air conditioner in the room was extremely loud. The free breakfast was very minimal. Hard to find any staff.

"If the sign saying I just stepped away from the desk wasn't ALWAYS UP !! I could talk to somebody!!!"

Location was good, did not have the breakfast

Take and put that very very very very NOISY REFRIDGERATOR and put it in the trash compactor!!!!!!!!!

"Never Again!!"

The bed was comfy

They canceled my booking before I got there because my "card didn't go thru", didn't get any type of call or email notifying me that I needed a new card. Once I arrived, 10 minutes after the cancellation email, they said they couldn't do anything about the canceled booking on their end. Gave me "the number to hotel manager" but it just rang to the front desk where we were already standing, so she called the manager on her cell phone who just reiterated everything we already said. Charged two different cards because they said my original one didn’t go thru but it showed on my bank statement until it finally dropped off after I talked to my bank. Sketchy! She said they only had one room left, yeah, it was my room that you JUST cancelled!!!! So they gave me the room back but only after charging an extra $100 than what I originally booked it for. Front desk staff couldn't understand or speak English well enough to be running the front desk. Half of the snacks in their snacks for sale were expired or getting ready to expire. Room was not cleanly, so much gunk on the walls, on top of the fridge and stove. Flooring coming up and baseboards flapping. Did not want to sit in the chairs as they had filth all over them. Disgusting place. No ice machine on our floor however there was a large puddle where I assume it used to be. Would never recommend or stay at this place EVER AGAIN!

I normally frequent this hotel, but this last trip Ii found out they don't do HOT Breakfast anymore. Which really turns me off. I like having a hot cup of coffee with eggs, or biscuits & gravy now on this trip it was a bagel with cream cheese. Very disappointing!
