Staff were friendly and responsive to requests. Place looked worn and ready for a facelift.

The bathroom door did not lock unless you lift the door up and when it was closed you could see out of the crack since he didn’t have a tighter close. No refrigerator…. A mini fridge for drinks would have been nice. The AC did not work!!! The room was hot. It would work sometimes and then shut off, and when it worked it wasn’t long enough to cool down the room. We came to this hotel on an 80 degree day with a large family. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned prior to our arrival. There was pubic hair and pee droplets on the back of the toilet where the seat is attached. Also, the toilet handle had fingerprints on it. The electric sliding doors to enter the hotel didn’t work. They were just kept open. That should have been the first red flag. We had no where to throw out our room garbage but after asking I was told to just leave it outside the front entry of the hotel. The house keeping staff do not change bedsheets in between nights or come in to change the garbage. They were also not friendly and had a less than hygienic appearance. Being that we couldn’t keep our drinks cold, we tried to get ice from the ice machine (5am so it should have been full) it only had a little bit of ice. Overall, this place appeared decent from the road but is a one star hotel.

I’m basing this review off the fact that there was a dirty, wet washcloth still in the shower when I arrived, along with one of the beds clearly wasn’t made. Of course I used the other bed and had no issues but still, very off putting. Also, there were bugs on the ceiling. They didn’t look like any type of roach I’d seen so I wasn’t too worried. Overall very disappointed in my stay and won’t be staying here again.

Probably the worst hotel room I have had in recent memory. There was a door stop n front of the working sink causing a serious tripping hazard. Also a loose tile in the toilet also causing a hazard. No tray or shelf in the shower to hold your soap/shampoo. no light over the desk. 2 lights over the bed and a clock that needed to be plugged in, but only a recepticle with 2 outlets. will not be back to this hotel.

Wi-Fi didn’t work at all during my stay. Opportunity to improve cleanliness of the room.

Beetles and ants in room. Not sure how common that is on this side of the US but they were there. No fridge or microwave.

The room did not have mini-fridge or microwave. The tv was a fire tv requiring you to log in with your Amazon account to do anything, IF you could connect to the hotel wifi. The wifi took hours of trying to get connected, even to the the tvs provided by the hotel. The night/morning clerk was helpful, but everyone else at the front desk was unhelpful. I was told there wasn't anything they could do to fix the wifi and to deal with it. Our room was missing a hairdryer, which house keeping confirmed should be in each room, and front desk proceeded to tell me they didn't have them in the rooms (House keeping took one from another room to give to us). There were also piles of debris behind the hotel and even broken fence.

Staff were friendly and very accommodating,the continental breakfast was good

The electric front door was out of service, the front desk lady was rude and not willing to provide the expected attention, further they sell their property with a Pool, and they simply respond that was out of service the pool. Terrible

I originally rated this hotel as exceptions when I stayed last December. They were the Baymont at that time and the rooms came with mini fridges and microwaves. This go around the room was completely empty. The automatic doors didn’t work, the Wi-Fi doesn’t work so even though they have Netflix you can’t watch unless you use your phone as a hot spot. It was loud as they are working on the building so I didn’t sleep that well. I would not book another stay at this hotel you are better off staying at the Hampton or in Danville.
