ibis Glasgow City Centre – Sauchiehall St

Location is convenient for Glasgow City Centre within walking distance of restaurants, pubs and Buchanan Street; Room was comfortable and clean with a decent size showers but the AC does not cool the room (has an odd setting / instructions that it only cools below 21degC and heats above this .. so we could not set the room temp); the window doesnt open wide (locked by a cable) so the room was stuffy and over-heated

Parking is a nightmare. I wouldnt stay here again just because of the parking; the directions to the parking were confusing (referred to as Elmbank Crescent Parking but the parking is in fact labelled as "Charing Cross City Parking" .. we ended up driving around the block 3x to find the parking; pedestrian access to the parking could only be made via the driving ramps .. the pedestrian access doors are locked from the outside; we paid £24 for 18 hours of parking.

Clean and comfortable

Bit misleading advertising as Sauchiehall St and quite a hike from Queen St station. Would be helpful in your advertising to point out that the hotel is closer to Charing Cross station.

Room smelt of strong bleach on arrival and there was a small black box on the floor of the room - I didn't know what it was. While I was in the shower, an employee let herself into my room which shocked and scared me and took the box. The next day, the room smelt like drains and sewage.
