Findlay Inn and Conference Center

The room was probably the cleanest room I've ever stayed in. The chrome on the bathroom hardware was spotless. There wasn't a speck of dust i could find, I looked, because I couldn't believe it. The roman blinds kept the room nicely dark and looked very nice vs drapes or curtains that hold humidity and dust. Parking was convenient. Restaurant on site but we didn't use it because we visited family. There are places to eat within walking distance as well. There was no road noise but about 10 or so each night a train passed somewhere close enough to hear the horn but it passed quickly and was no bother. The continental breakfast is just that. It's adequate to grab a bite. A suggestion would be to add a small settee so there is somewhere to sit in the room besides on the bed. Small refrigerator that was adequate for us. I would stay again and recommend it if this fits your needs.

My first impression was not good. No lights on in the parking lot. My fault for not seeing that it was a continental breakfast, which up until Friday was served in a closet. Very disappointed in the fitness room. My room was clean and comfortable, but there was a serious lack of outlets. Hard to work at the desk, and you'll need an extension cord if you like to plug your phone in next to the bed like I do.

I come to the Findlay Inn every year and it never disappoints. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the food in The Tavern restaurant is always wonderful.

When people check in at 3:00 am, they should be informed to be quiet. We were woken up at 3:00 am and since there are no room phones we could not notify the front desk. It is hard to believe that people are so rude, but they are. In this day an age we are not inclined to knock on a door, nor should we have to.

We stayed here for a wedding reception. The place was clean and quiet. I thought the bed was comfortable but my husband thought it was a bit firm. Great location for the venue

Nice place and easy to use. Had some weird things happen and was informed “Bob” the ghost sometimes likes to mess around. Air conditioning turning off and on. Microwave started on its own. Television channels changing and volume turning up and down. Weird. Overall, Bob didn’t scare us off and had a nice stay.

Very clean nice place to stay probably one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed at highly recommend

It was close to the building that the wedding reception was held and close by other bars and restaurants.
