"barely adequate price and location for 1 night only"

the breakfast was hot, not continental so that's a plus. there was egg, sausage and biscuit. there was coffee, or at least liquid that was brown and looked like coffee. it vaguely smelled like coffee

the food was tasteless. the egg, sausage and biscuit had no flavor. the coffee was probably the worst coffee i've ever had. it was absolutely tasteless. the shower in the room (#123) did not get hot. it got warm, but never got hot. that's not a good way to start the day

"Smoke Smell Was Not Fun"

It was great when we got there but when we came back from dinner there were about 4 firetrucks outside the hotel. There had been a drier fire and everything was fine except that the smell was horrible. We had to block the bottom of our room door with towels to try to stop the smell from coming into the room. And of course we had to only use the stairs that night and even the next morning when we checked out.

The smell from the smoke from the fire and the breakfast was not offered until 7am. What happened to 6am breakfasts at hotels. This is the second hotel that has happened at where you really paid for that breakfast but couldn't use it since it was so late for us in the morning.
