Clean, great staff, amazing breakfast, and huge room

The lobby area was nice, and the young lady at the front desk during check-in and gentlemen at the desk during check out were very pleasant. The building is older, which isn't necessarily an issue - old can still be clean. However the room was filthy. Quite certain it had not been vacuumed (or barely cleaned at all), as there was hair, food, and what looked like skin flakes on the floor and couch. Also a giant dead centipede and pube hairs all over in the bathroom. Luckily the linens were clean, but the box spring cover was stained with suspicious stains. The remote control was so disgusting I simply opted out of watching TV. Zit stickers left on the walls. Needless to say, I won't be staying there again.

Charged me twice then said non refundable it was my fault then they booked me another day trying to have me pay 3 times for one night

The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good.

Check in was quick and easy. Didn't catch her name but the check in person was really pleasant. We don't drink coffee, but asked about hot chocolate and she got us some. The next night we asked the check in person about hot chocolate and she said they were all out. I could be wrong, but I don't think she really bothered to check. So we were disappointed the second night. When we checked out the person was really pleasant as well. Overall a good stay even with the tornadoes.

Cleaning could be better. There were cobwebs and bugs.

Friendly staff! Clean rooms, however, for the price this property visit very outdated. I was immediately disappointed as we booked this hotel for a volleyball tournament, and I went back and forth between the Courtyaed next door with a lounge or this property with a pool and hot tub. We decided the hot tub would be nice after a long day of playing. Surprise.. the hot tub was just a facade in the photo. I'm not sure if it was a photo shop job or a photo of an entirely different property, but there is no hot tub here. However, you can see one in the pictures on the Marriott website. I attached the photos from the website, you tell me what that hole in the floor filled with water is beyond the pool. Additionally, the pool was out of order due to a part being in order but we were not offered any notification in advance with the chance to change our reservation or even an adjustment in the rate that was based on a hotel that offered an indoor pool. Last, the TV in the room is not a smart TV and only gets the local 12 channels. This is just something that should be a common feature in a Marriott property in 2025. I didn't know I needed to bring my own fire stick! Springhill, you can do better!
