Red Roof Inn Columbus - Hebron

Stayed a couple weekends ago & Great place to stay when I am in town. I have seen many updates to property as well since last stay, which is great. Also my room was much much cleaner then the last couple times as well so always a positive! I need downstairs room and they always accommodate me no problem. Only semi complaint is nothing at all for breakfast not even a donut & some OJ it would go a long way even just on weekends. Just throwing that out there! Coffee was decent but creamer powder & it is only original so bring your own if you need something more. My Housekeeper girl was very friendly as well as the front desk associate. Keep up the positive changes it is noticeable!!! 10/10 😊

Renovations need to be done. Rust ring in the tub, tile no really clean.

Staff members were attentive She quickly found me a different room when the first room reamwd of smoke and marijuana Rooms were clean

Coffee was bad~ Watched the staff mix decaf & caffinated coffee Entire lobby need an update Lobby smelled old and musty~ Decorations were sad~ Furniture was old Stairs were filthy Towels were cheap and falling apart

No breakfast was provided. Coffee was good. There's a TA right across the street, with a Bob Evans and other restaurants, so that was convenient. The room had more than plenty of power outlets. Even the nightstands had outlets! The bed was fine. comfort-wise. Plenty of pillows. The cleaning staff was diligent and did a great job! Room was spacious and had a TV, dresser, desk, chair, plus a lounge chair. The location is only 10 minutes from Legend Valley, which was where we went every day for 4 days. Plenty of parking. They had books and toys available in the lobby for any kids, which I thought was nice.

The water in the bathtub faucet came out brown initially and smelled heavily of rust. I let it run awhile until it ran clear. There's no elevator and we were on the second floor. They didn't mention this (would be very important to an elderly or ADA person). The first night's set of sheets had what looked like period stains on them. The mattress didn't have a mattress pad, which I think would be very important to avoid staining the mattress should a visitor have an accident. The TV only got like 4 stations. It did offer the ability to connect to your Android-based apps. The TV remote charges via a small solar panel on the back, so it was dead most of the time.
