SpringHill Suites Philadelphia Plymouth Meeting

Staff is great and hotel is great. Room was a perfect size. And we needed a location near the Turnpike.

If the hotel is full, and it often is, you may need to make alternate plans for breakfast. When they know that there is going to be a large group, staying, management should staff up. Otherwise there is no food available.

Located by a mall and freeway

Accused by manager Jack of making false document from Booking .com that it was prepaid. 1st room toilet overflowed 2nd room floor master and coffee stains. Musty mildew smell needs remolding

Was disappointed they were under new management and did away with the swimming pool

Positive: the staff was very nice and accommodating. Negative: the property and room was disgusting. Pool is closed permanently and being filled in and we weren’t notified until the week of check-in. The room was disgusting with cigarette burns and stains throughout the carpet. Mold or something else black on the bathroom vent. Blackout curtains shredded and see-through. No bedding or pillows for the pull-out couch. Only reason we didn’t change hotels is because all hotels were booked for the weekends event we were attending.

Not much I liked… maybe that we didn’t kill one of the animals running around unsupervised.

First, they allowed kids ages around 4 to maybe 14 to occupy multiple rooms without any adult supervision. What could go wrong with that??? Constant noise until after midnight with kids running up and down the hall, shouting and screaming, knocking on random doors just to irritate people. And the hotel did nothing. They were severely understaffed. Rooms were dated with furniture that was broken and general upkeep was terrible. You could get nicer furniture and accessories at the local dump than what they had. Facilities also couldn’t be used.

Awful experience… hotel apparently booked several families where the parents put all the kids together (probably age 13 or 14 and below) and who knows where they slept… but it wasn’t with the kids. They were running around like wild animals well past midnight…. Hotel staff did nothing to stop it. Add that to the run down facility and the lack of general cleanliness, I’d sleep in the car before staying here again.

Easy check-in, easy check-out. Location is less than a mile from major expressways meaning fast on/off for PA turnpike, NE extension, Blue route. Room was a good size and comfortable

The fact that they offer hot breakfast selections is always a PLUS but the 2 mornings we went, a few items were low or entirely out (i.e. scrambled eggs, sausage). I think they were eventually refilled but after we were finished.
