Marriott Milwaukee West

After spending over $ 200 for a room they have to surprise you with an additional $ 10 fee to park. Breakfast was overpriced.

The Marriott West hotel and the BLVD restaurant was exceptional!!! We recently stayed at the hotel to attend a family funeral in the area. The staff at the hotel and restauaran were attentive, friendly and caring. It is hard to describe the exceptional service we received at the restaurant for our group of 20. The hotel is lovely,clean, comfortable and updated. Will definitely stay here on future trips!

Staff. Super friendly and knowledgeable loved that. Room. The queen beds kinda felt like full sized. Kinda hard but some people may like that. The breakfast was amazing. Buffet style. Loved that. Although there were no non pork meat options. Bar staff was great also. Got in me during last call. Pool. Water was warm and inviting over all a very pleasant experience and I'll be back

The housekeeping staff are exemplary! I have never stayed in a cleaner hotel. Everything was spotless, not just my own room. The lobby areas, the work-out room, elevators. Everything was well taken care of.

We were very pleased with this beautiful property. It’s cleanliness and up keep along with the service was top knotch! We stayed 2 nights and felt we got our money’s worth from our stay. The hotel was busy but we only shared an elevator with another couple once. I was very impressed with the daily service to our rooms that is missing from other hotels since the COVID shutdown.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the past 15 years. Still a good hotel, but a few things to consider. The good: The rooms are great. Nicely updated and appointed. The staff is wonderful and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. And the the things that we didn’t like so much: 1. There is now a $10 + tax daily parking fee for guests. This isn’t in an urban area or near a commuter train station so as a guest it just feels like an annoying fee to park my car in a huge lot. No valet here. You pay a fee to park your car a good distance from the entrance unless you get lucky with the few spots near the entrance. Meanwhile, people attending events and weddings park free. Hopefully management will reconsider how to manage this in the future. Why not offer a valet option? Or just increase the room rate so guests don’t feel annoyed with tack on fees? 2. The breakfast. On Sunday morning it was limited to a buffet for about $14.95/person. Years ago we had the buffet and it was good and the menu on the website looked good. Sadly it doesn’t even resemble what we remember. Scrambled eggs were tasteless, pancakes inedible and no real maple syrup available (even for a charge), coffee bland, oatmeal looked watery so didn’t try. Fruit was good. Everything else just had an over processed food feel to me. If you are picky about your food suggest finding another place in town.

I don’t get the negative reviews here. I stay in this hotel frequently for business as I travel in to work. It’s not a place I picked and it wouldn’t have been on my radar or something I’d consider if my company didn’t always put us up here. But I have to tell you—I really think this place is great! Rooms are always clean. Staff always goes out of their way to be helpful. The restaurant is on premise and solid. Beds are comfortable. There’s a decent gym, a nice indoor pool, etc. It’s a very good Marriott, and it’s very consistent. I’ve only once had a minor issue and the hotel went out of their way to address it as best as they could. I was here, as I frequently am, this week, and wasn’t disappointed. This Marriott is a case study in what makes Marriott a good hotel.

food is pricey. Nice property. Will stay where I get continental breakfast on weekends. Thank you.

Nice hotel, the staff were nice & friendly. The room & bathroom were both clean. Would definitely recommend.
