"Great hotel, once your room isn’t attached to gym"

Great hotel. Well located. The breakfast you order was lovely

Rooms were a little small. It’s a quality hotel but definitely not cheap. I was working out in the gym making sure to be quiet as it was attached to peoples bedrooms - this is really poor design. I would be extremely unhappy if I got a bedroom attached to a gym

La tranquilidad, Está a un minuto de Callao, pero la plaza donde se encuentra el hotel es un oasis de tranquilidad.

"Great upmarket hotel right in the centre."

Location was excellent. We didn’t have breakfast as so many cafes within 2 minutes walking from the hotel. 5 minutes from Gran Via and all the shops and attractions.

"Great location, beautiful building but low end room"

The location is perfect, and for this reason I gave it three stars. But the room itself? Let me review. 1. What is that ridiculous wall decor? It looks like urine stains, I noticed the one by the side table first and literally thought someone had spilled coffee on the wall. 2. The trash can in the bathroom. It’s one of the step ones. But it was scratched up and dirty. It had a plastic bag with about 4 inches of overhang. Just gross. I’ve never seen even a cheap hotel use a nasty can like that. 3. They put a sort of plastic stool between the shower and the sink. Not sure what for exactly. Maybe to put your shampoo on because there was no place in the shower to do it, but it was super cheap and the legs were RUSTY! 4. The grout was dirty in the bathroom tiles. 5. The bed sheets. They were the super cheap kind of crunchy bed sheets and were slightly, ever so slightly not white. 6. The thermostat in the room did not work at all. Such a shame over all because the building is spectacularly beautiful and the staff is wonderful. They could make this place tip top with so little extra money but have chosen not to.
