The location is perfect

The facilities are outdated, and not in the best condition

We had the best experience at Hotel Tybee. From the start our check-in was easy and efficient. Our room was clean and well stocked. The Hotel is perfectly located with lots of fun places to visit and the beach out the back door. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I can't wait to go back!!

Coveinet location and friendly staff

Outdated and room wasn’t the cleanest

The hotel advertises $182 on website, on Trivago it was $145 and they charged with fees and taxes $281.50. The room was not cleaned very well with hair on the back of the bathroom door, mold in shower, the curtains were dirty and dirty smudges on wall. The bed was very uncomfortable. Worst place we have ever stayed but it was late and we were tired after a day of traveling. The town looks like it has been very rundown.

Needs a deep cleaning. Rented two rooms. One had an a/c issue and was very muggy. Other didn’t have hot water in shower.

My husband planned a beach weekend getaway for us, and we were looking forward to a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The room was not properly cleaned. Upon entering the bathroom, we found feces on the soap dispenser and on the floor beside the toilet. The bathtub also contained sandy grit, indicating it had not been thoroughly cleaned between guests. These conditions were unacceptable and raised serious concerns about the hotel’s housekeeping standards. When my husband brought these issues to the attention of hotel staff, the concerns were not addressed with the level of urgency or concern we expected. While we were refunded for two bottles of wine that were supposed to be waiting in our room upon arrival, that did little to compensate for the unsanitary condition of the room. Rather than enjoying a relaxing weekend away, we had to make a trip to the local store to purchase cleaning supplies and clean portions of the room ourselves. This is not something any guest should have to do while on vacation. We had high hopes for this stay, but the cleanliness issues and the response we received from staff significantly impacted our experience. I hope management reviews its housekeeping procedures and guest service practices so future guests do not encounter similar issues.
