Ramada Limited Redondo Beach

This is an older hotel but has been updated with fresh paint. Rooms look light and airy. Underground parking was nice, not having to worry about car being parked on the street. Although breakfast is advertised there was no breakfast and no coffee, only hot water, for the 2 days we were there.

This is a wonderful location within a few blocks of the Redondo Beach and the pier. There are quite a few good restaurants within walking distance. The staff are very friendly and the towels are provided daily if requested. Breakfast is cereal, toast juice, coffee, etc but there is a Trader Joes nearby and a fridge and microwave on the room. There is no elevator so if stairs are a problem, ask for ground floor.

Quick walk to the beach, very convenient. Room was clean, exterior of building seemed to be in the middle of remodel.

We stayed her for 2 nights in the middle of the week while visiting family near by. I was skeptical due to the very reasonably price per night, but was pleasantly surprised. Room was fresh and clean (recently redone) pictures were accurate. We were on the 1st floor near the office. It was quiet at night and the staff at the front desk were very pleasant at checking and anytime we interacted with them. For a value you hotel it exceeded my expectations. The continental breakfast is nice to have but definitely nothing fancy with only a few options - toast with butter, jelly and peanut butter, 2 cereal options, pre-packaged danishes, yogurt and bananas. The 2nd day they did have some oatmeal. So not a ton, but enough to put something in your stomach and certainly better than nothing! Location was great, about 5 min walk, 3 blocks or so to the beach and shops at the Redondo pier. At the pier there are tons of food options! Most of the shops and food places don’t open till 11am. On Thursdays they have an outdoor market with vendors from 9-1pm, they had food options and lots of other wonderful vendors. We went at happy hour and got fish 3 delicious fish tacos at the outdoor fish market for $5 and a huge order of fries for $5! Lots of happy hour options at many of the places! Overall, great stay in a comfortable room in desirable location. We will totally consider this hotel again if in the area. The only negative I will mention, the microwave in our room was a little wonky and wouldn’t work all the time and the shower didn’t drain great, but neither of these would deter us from staying here again. Some mention the pillows were hard - we didn’t experience this! They were fine for us.

Excellent venue, love the decor and seaside vibe. It’s so ideal for the amazing beach that you can walk to burn off your calories before putting them back on the pier at the restaurant . The breakfast menu is just enough to get you started on your day.

This place is .6 miles from the beach! At night, I could hear seals! This definitely is a 5 star type of place, but the price is reasonable, I felt very safe as a solo traveler, and check-in was a breeze. The grout around the tub needs to be redone in the bathroom...but other than that, the room was clean. The bed was comfy and they had plenty of shampoo, body wash, conditioner and lotion which is always appreciated. This place is right on Pacific Coast Highway, so traveling around is a breeze.

All was good & it was an easy walk to the beach. Continental breakfast is very basic (cereal, oatmeal packets, toast, coffee, bananas and oranges). I would rate it higher but there was a bag of trash by the outdoor trash can leaking coffee for the full duration of our stay (3 days). It’s like it was pulled out of the trash can and then left near it. Location was key at this hotel.

Garage is 2 flights of stairs down. No elevator provided.
