Comfort Suites Austin Airport

It was close enough to the airport to meet my needs.

The Lyft pickup was cumbersome, especially the first time I exited the airport and tried to use it. Directions from the desk staff were confusing.

Tolles Hitel nahe am Flughafen. Ca 15 Minuten. Dennys zu Fuß nach ca. 3 Minuten zu erreichen.

Location was convenient

The beds were uncomfortable, there was no deadbolt on the door, the toilet kept running and the breakfast was inedible

It was clean.. the lobby was inviting.

All was great

The Hotel is really good value for money. It isn't flash but nothing is a particularly bad either. For a few nights stay it works well.

We were charged an extra $40 odd dollars after our stay was completed. This wasn't mentioned at all during our stay, it just appeared one day after on our Visa card. When I took this up with Sam the Manager. who was always pleasant to deal with, he agreed it shouldn't have happened and he would refund it. Two months and 10+ (international) phone calls later we are still no further in getting this dealt with, regardless of constant promises to chase things up, send us update emails etc. At no stage could they provide proof that the refund had been processed and I get the feeling it never was. I can overlook a lot, but taking people's money without asking or telling them is called theft, no matter how it is taken. Then not giving it back when asked...it leaves a sour taste in the mouth.
