Dodge House Hotel & Convention Center

There was a quote at the front desk, “If a train station is where the train stops, what is a work station?” The quote was carried out by the staff. There was rarely anyone at the front desk, and therefore there was no work at the “work station”. Service was non existent. I predict that this facility will be out of business before the end on the year.

It was ok but rooms pretty old and dirty

There was holes and rips in the carpet, the room stunk like mildew, the bathroom lights didn't work had to use noisy timer/heat lamp. To start with I had a grumpy service desk employee that had to find me a downstairs room ( that I had requested online when reserving) because I can't climb stairs and they have no elevator ( he grumbled about 3rd party reservations ) and the Wi-Fi/ Internet sucked. Will not be staying there again because I didn't have a good experience with them a year ago either

MORRIS THE MANAGER WAS VERY HELPFUL IN MANY WAYS AND IS A CREDIT TO THE LODGE.

Wanted to try them. We arrived at 2;30 which i know the check-in time was 3. The lady at the front desk pointed to sign and went back to her chair and started playing on her phone. we left and came at 4. Stood in the check-in area for 15 minutes waiting for somebody again Finally a man walked in and asked we needed anything. Sorry, but we go to a different hotel next time . sorry

The. Atmosphere

Dirty, bad front desk service. Old towels. Very hot and smelly

Lots of old west decorations, especially about the Gun Smoke shows.
