Dodge House Hotel & Convention Center

No free breakfast, one of the outlets in my room did not work, trouble accessing internet. Paint in room fading not pleasant to look at.

The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful and made check in a smooth and quick process. The hotel has age on it and it’s what you would expect for the rate. The AC works well and the water is hot.

This property was unique, and definitely not a big chain. Morris at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. But, the hotel has just seen better days. It is worn and aging despite best efforts at renovation. Generally felt safe enough an it was clean enough.

I liked the historical western theme. I am a big fan of Gunsmoke and this just topped it off. So glad I found this hotel.

Quiet, slept great. Overall good stay, clean, comfortable. There was supposed to be coffee available, but there wasn’t. But maybe it was too early, I checked out at 5am.

The check in staff were very friendly and helpful. I was there for a 3 day stay The first room I had was very smelly and the bed was horribly uncomfortable. Very hard you could feel the springs and the sheets and coverings were not good. Very outdated with stains and holes in them. I went to the front desk the next day and they showed me another room and I changed to it. While I appreciated it smelling better the bed was still very uncomfortable. The new room had a recliner and I slept in it. It’s sad that this hotel is a historic spot with so many awesome photos and decor but the rooms are in desperate need of updates. While the pricing wasn’t bad it was on the high side for what I paid for and received as a room to stay in for 3 days. The pool and hot tub were very enjoyable with towels readily available and clean. It does have free washing Machines and the dryer is only $1 they did work very.

Don’t let the pics on the website fool you! This place was disgusting. Front desk staff was indifferent and unfriendly. We were originally put in a room that had an overpowering cleaning chemical smell. My pet and I were then moved to a “pet section.” Room smelled like dogs and was worn out and broken down. On the first floor the window had no lock and the room was completely vulnerable to anyone from the outside. When I reported this to the front desk I was handed a screwdriver. I didn’t feel secure in the room. There’s nothing appealing about this place and the room was over $100! With many other nearby hotel options this is not one I would return to. I’d rather sleep in my car.

Needs serious updating. Staff very hard to find. Had big issue with restaurant over charges-yet to be resolved
