Spark by Hilton Lynchburg

Waiting over 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to do the check in. Then endedup having to cancel reservation due to the room having an ant infestation. Staff was nice and helpful but could not solve issue.

Had to track down the staff in another part of the hotel engaged in a conversation with another staff member away from the desk in order to check in. More of a flirting conversation than work related. She really wasn't into doing anything that day. The breakfast was boiled eggs and dry cereal. The room was great but everything else about the place was a let down.

First, the location was not convenient. When we arrived there wasn’t anyone at the desk. We called out. No answer. We even knocked on and opened the office door. No answer, Then we stepped outside and saw a young girl leaned against the wall. We asked if she worked there and told her we were trying to check in. She acted like she didn’t want to be there. No welcome, no “thank you for being Hilton members,” no “ here’s your bottled water.” We made one trip to carry items to our room. We saw that there wasn’t a coffeemaker in the room. I went back to the car and mentioned to the front desk person that there wasn’t a coffeemaker. In a bored voice she replied, “Hilton made us take them out.” Although the room was clean, it was small! The sink was in the room and the bathroom had a very small shower opposite the commode. We will not be staying here again. The hotel doesn’t deserve the Hilton brand.

It was nice and staff was very friendly and love the 24 hour coffee

Rooms are kinda small, breakfast was weak but bed was nice

Bed was great

Too many bugs
