Norfolk Country Inn and Suites

The clerk was very friendly, the room looked to be clean, smelled like dial soap. Wall paper was peeling, carpet was very stained.

No pool. No tv. No wi-fi. 4 day stay had to go get towels. Wouldn’t eat the breakfast

JUST DON'T!!! Everything was filthy. The white curtains were black, we found plume pits hidden in the corner and the bedding was dirty. The provided shampoo and lotion were previously used and the bathroom was dirty. Completely disappointed does not even come close to how we felt.

Check in went well. As i pulled up to my room there were Men sitting outside who had clearly been drinking. I had to walk past them to get to my room. They whistled and tried talking me. I thought i should be fine as i wasn’t planning on leaving my room. Sitting in my room you could hear them yelling, arguing, and then glass broke. There was trash around the bed. I didn’t stay the night in the room and left after 30 minutes. They offered a different room when i told the desk clerk what happened but i refused as i felt unsafe to stay there.

The rooms had coffee pots & cups but no coffee. The front desk said coffee was only available at the office. This was an inconvenience to have to dress & leave the room. One of my family members uses a walker & decided it wasn’t worth it. The TV/cable service was out or when intermittently available - the screen froze. Some channels listed were not available. The shower curtain was new & there were sufficient towels but in the grand scheme-not a place I would revisit. Property also needs updating.

Live bedbugs in our room and the owner refused to give me a refund.

The hostess was nice, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.

Our air conditioning was not working and when we called the front desk, they offered a desk top fan or to move us to a new room at 11 at night. My kid was already sleeping. Plus we had to ask for more pillows to which they brought towels instead. This was after I had to call back after 40 minutes to ask for them again, and they still got it wrong. Horrible place to stay.

Convenient access while driving. The basics covered. Aging facilities and everything works.
