Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Syracuse Baldwinsville

The couch was so stained we had to cover with blankets. Paint coming off ceiling in bathroom. Stains in sink unsure what is was but gross. Wet residue stains on walls very gross. The property advertisement does not show current status.

The property was extremely old and outdated, with horrible smelly carpets through-out the entire building. The ceiling smoke detector was hanging off the ceiling. The comforter had stains, and the bathroom faucets were dirty and had rust stains on them. The toilet backed up on us in the middle of the night, my husband used the plunger that was in the bathroom to get the water to go back down and the towels to mop up the water on the floor. When I told the front desk lady at check-out she accused us of flushing something inappropriate down the toilet. She never apologized or took accountability for the inconvenience that we experienced. From the time we entered the door, we smelled the water damaged carpets and there was an air fresher plugged into the wall on the 2nd floor going to our room and that didn't help the smell at all, as the carpet in the room was stained and smelly as well. The property should be removed from the list of hotels on Expedia and Wyndham should be ashamed to be associated with this property. This was a horrible experience and I only stayed because everything else near Syracuse University was booked.

The staff is extremely rude I a handicap in a wheelchair and they made me feel uncomfortable they tried to open my door while I was in bed.the bathtub was filthy I hapo

The bathroom sink did not have a stopper, bathroom floor was dirty. The hair dryer unit was dirty so did not use. There was blood spot on my duvet cover. The breakfast area could use a good wiping down and food was mediocre. Needs to be updated and a good cleaning. That’s
