General Inflexibility. Request for quiet room ignored. Room overlooked flat roof with all of the air con units so due to noise unable to open window. No table/seat available in the restaurant until late in the evening. I had been driving all day and wanted an early meal. I was told that I should have booked earlier. I was unaware that as a resident I had to book separately. I was told that because I had booked through Booking.com the hotel did not have my e mail to offer me the request to book dinner. I noted that not all tables were taken but when asked was told that it was due to a lack of staffing that they could not accommodate a full dining room. Very cold and unfriendly 'snacking area' as only option. Poor menu choice. Customers making noise outside in garden until 1am. Noise traveled up the hotel even with windows closed and woke me. Staff should have intervened earlier. Should be a clear indication what the phone number is for reception and it should be written nearby or on the telephone.
