The Setai

I spent three nights at this hotel for business, paying $2,600 per night for an upgraded ocean view two bedroom suite, and I was extremely disappointed with my overall experience. The room itself was great! However the construction noise was unbearable, starting early in the morning and continuing late into the night. Additionally, the fire alarm testing that occurred today was poorly communicated to the guests and was also very disturbing. While I understand the necessity of these tests, the execution should have been handled better. Victoria, the Director of Front Office, showed a complete lack of empathy and provided inadequate service recovery by merely offering a free late check-out. What was worse was her arrogance and lack of care. I strongly urge the ownership to reconsider their on property leaders, as this level of service is far from satisfactory. With many other options available in the area, I will not be returning to this hotel.
