"What a lovely surprise"

What a lovely find in charming old el Puerto de Santa Maria, esp when you see some of the reviews. Not the usual homogenous style we are so accustomed to but a hotel full of character located is this charming old monestario complete with its old art work. The rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was good - lots of traditional Spanish fare. The pool was clean and quiet and a lovely courtyard too It was close to the town, the train station, the bus stop (to get to the beach) so great for those of us who want to walk/take public transport. Finally, i thought the price was good. A great find

To be honest little. There are areas where upgrading the paint work would help maybe. Also good if the bar was open at lunchtime/afternoon but maybe the football isnt sufficient. and there is a vending machone.
