The excellent service from all of the staff made this a must more enjoyable stay. I would like to particularly thank the manager who was on duty over the weekend, and also the friendly and professional service from the main barman, both of which were top notch!!! The service elevated the experience. Hotel is in a fabulous location, giving easy access to Bicester, and with lovely country B roads to allow easy exploration to Charlbury, Burford, Blenheim….. Hotel rooms were comfortable, great bed, but shower was poor. Restaurant staff were great! I would particularly recommend the Biryani!!! Probably one of the tastiest biryani’s I’ve had!

Very nice place to stay. As someone who has a disability one of the young girl staff was very helpful to me with my disability.

Our three day break at The Holt was just what we needed.. The ambience and comfort of the place was perfect. Everywhere was spotless and well kept, and the decor and furnishings had been tastefully chosen, The meals were an equally high standard; very tasteful and well presented. The staff were outstanding too; they were welcoming and polite. Each one extremely helpful. Nothing was too much for them. Even though there was a wedding party in the hotal on the Satuday afternoon/evening, as guests at the hotel we never lacked attention or help from the staff. The garden and grounds of The Holt were very well maintained and a pleasure to enjoy. This is a hotel my husband and I would definitely visit again, and one we would recommend to othes.

Lovely hotel with clean rooms

Really nice hotel/inn close to Oxford and Woodstock. Very friendly staff. Smaller room, but fine for 1 night. Beautiful grounds and a good breakfast.

Room was small (room 35) and that was ok, but it was on the top floor and no aircondition in 30 degrees. . Only a small part of the window could open, the other window could not open. The staff tried, but could not. Gave us a fan instead which helped very little. It was a long hot night. Had dinner in the restaurant, bread was terribly hard, they refunded it. Starters were not so interesting, but mains very good. I would stay again, but get a better room.
