Comfort Inn & Suites Morganton South

First, I reserved a jacuzzi room & I was really looking forward to it. When I arrived, they said sorry they don’t have any jacuzzi rooms left, even though I had reserved it. Then since I don’t live terribly far away, they held $150 as a deposit because we are considered local. My husband and I wanted some alone time so we had a babysitter. Since we arrived so late after a function we went to near by I called the front desk to request a check out at 12:00 instead of 11 AM. I was told that I would have to pay a $25 fee, in this hotel was maybe 1/4 to 1/3 full. Lastly, I asked the front desk to speak to the manager and they said one wasn’t available. I asked the front desk if they could please have one please call me when they arrive in the morning and he said he would do so. I never received a call from the manager at any time the next morning. Also, the breakfast was terrible and cold. I was incredibly disappointed and quite frankly in awe with a lack of customer service and willingness to accommodate a guest. I’ll definitely be passing the word around not to go to their hotel.

I called ahead to make sure I could get a room to accommodate my wheelchair. They were so kind and made it happen. Booked while on phone it was ready day of at 2 as promised. Clean. Breakfast was waffle stations, eggs, sausage plus the lighter options. No problems at all and the staff are great. Glad we were able to visit family and have a handicap friendly option.

pretty run down

pretty dumpy. Phone didn't work, outlets half dont work, alarm clock kept buzzing even when off until unplugged, wifi both week, and super sketchy security issues... stayed at Hampton Inn night before and it was much better. sdsdsddsdsdd

Hotel staff was great during this visit. Room was nice bed was hard and linens not very clean but overall it was fine.

Stay was comfortable. I booked a jacuzzi jetted tub room and when I got there they said if you book through vacation websites that the advertising of a jacuzzi jetted tub is false. Ended up with a regular size tub with jets. Ran it through a few times before using and dirty things came out of it. Never used it for the jetted tub. Breakfast was ok. The regular scrambled eggs with toast,cereal,yogurt,waffles,and pastry. Overall bed was comfortable and room was quiet

The same breakfast for the 7 days we were there.. eggs from a microwave and flat sausages.

I did not like the fact that I tried to reach out to the hotel and booking.com to let them Know I would not be arriving until Thursday morning October 17th due to travel delays from hurricane causing interstate closure. No one answered my numerous calls and when I brought it up to the hotel they said I still had to pay for Wednesday the 16th of October even though I was not there. I find this Truly upsetting because it was $205 dollars I paid for a room I was not even in. If someone would have answered the phone this issue wouldn't be an issue.
