ibis Paris Défense Courbevoie

The hotel looks up to date at the reception area but the rooms are dated and lack good air conditioning. Unable to keep the window open as it only opened wide. It is in a walking distance to the metro but there is an alternative ibis hotel much closer.

The hotel was OK, carpets were stained. Breakfast was decent. Dinner option was also good.

Travelling for business I only need the hotel for a nights sleep, but I do prefer the room to be clean. At least from cobwebs, but this was not the case. I also believe that a toilet should have tiles and not be a plastic box that has been dropped in the corner of the room. Free broadband wasn't fast enough for business needs, purchased the faster connection instead, which was cheaper than I've experienced in other hotels. In summary, my wife wouldn't have stayed here and for the price paid per night, I would spend another 10% and stay in a nearby 5-star hotel instead.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights after a business conference in Paris. I am not asking for 5-star hotel service knowing that I am staying at Ibis but a good night sleep is the least the hotel can offer. Unfortunately, not at this hotel!! There was constant banging / cracking noise throughout the night - not sure if it is from the air-conditioning pipes or from next door. Changed to another room on another floor after 1st night but noise continued on, had to put ear plugs on to get a few hours sleep. Also, why didn't they tell guests that there was a bus service (no. 163 and 164) to/from the city (Porte De Champerret) just 2 minutes walk from the hotel? You can connect to bus no. 84 and 92 from Porte De Champerret using the same ticket (if within 90 minutes). I wish I had known that, then I did not have to walk 20 minutes from Esplanade La Defense Metro Station on the first day! The route is not easy to find, I got help from a lady living near the Metro Station who walked me to Rue Victor Hugo.

Unless you have a car think about staying else where. It's walkable from la defense but is good 20mins. And to arrive at the hotel door at 1210am and being told to walk right round the building to another entrance by staff talking to me through the door makes for a very bad humour. Not good enough and pretty poor customer service.

Hotel was nice, beds really comfy, room was clean, staff were helpful and pleasant. Only thing is don't bother eating at the grill next door, we only had an evening meal (breakfast is served there) and we left over half it. Was not tasty at all. And we sat at the outdoor restaurant tables to enjoy a cup of tea and the restaurant staff shooed us away, even though they were part of the ibis hotel! But actual hotel, can't fault it for the price we paid. Will stay there again.

Nice hotel to stay. The only small inconvenient is that it is 15 minutes walk away from metro station. Apart of this everything is fine with the hotel and the staff ...

Bed amazingly comfortable, double glazing so no road noise, view of Seine, really excellent shower cubicle. Courte Paille next door for meals and / or breakfast. Only slight problem very difficult to find!! - as in La Defense, and there are two Ibis hotels, so managed to find wrong one first! However free and safe parking and only 20 minute walk to metro station - really good value for money. Would certainly recommend!

The hotel room, hotel service and facilities are very good. Friendly staff who speak English. Free wi-fi, air conditioning. Free on-site parking (limited numbers), means you don't have to drive in Paris, leave the car and get the Metro. Only downside is that you have to walk about 20mins to the Metro station, but then it is only 15 mins tto the centre of Paris. The walk to the Metro is a bit convulated through the La Defense area, but it is a safe walk. Would use this hotel again.
