"A gem of a stay in lovely Pella"

The breakfast was fresh with a lot of selections. It was refreshing to have actual cooked eggs instead of the usual powdered or pre-made omelets. The room deserved the tip that I left for housekeeping, it was that impressive. Of the 5 nights away from home in various locations on our trip, this one was the best.

"Not worth its rating."

The bed was hard, there was no top sheet on it, there was no soap in the bathroom (just a makeup wipe), and no one was working the receptionist desk and no bell to ring when I went to check out. I waited 10 minutes, yelled a “Hello” and no one came. I wrote a note on my key requesting an emailed receipt with my email address and never received one.

"It was alright. The bed was awful, but the location was good."

The breakfast was decent. It had the normal fare. Waffles, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, and oatmeal. The location was great. The staff were very nice.

I was very disappointed in the bed. It was terrible. The mattress was very uncomfortable and the pillows were very flat. I didn't sleep well the entire stay. In fact the bed my son slept in was just as bad and he complained. He seems to be able to sleep anywhere. There was a lot of sand in the pool and hot tub as well.
