breakfast was good better than most

only one nightstand for 2 beds

The room was clean, the beds were comfy. We felt safe and the majority of employees were friendly. We liked being on the top floor and not far from the elevator. We chose this hotel because it was close to our main objective for visiting, it had a pool/hot tub, had an affordable rate and safe parking. We were happy with the ability to receive coffee/tea/cocoa/juice at all hours as well and enjoyed the candy canes set out.

It was loud in the mornings as they were doing some remodeling right next to our room. It would be smart to not put guests right across the hall from the room being remodled.. we didnt spend the day in our room though so we werent bothered the whole time. I did over hear another guest close by at the service counter complaining of the noise and asked for a different room which I hope they resolved. I did not like that while my older kids were swimming in the pool, there were two very young kids in the hot tub with their mom just looking at her phone and not paying attention. When the little kids got out to get in the pool my kids went to get into the hot tub. The little kids waited until after they got in to tell them there was poop in the hot tub, and then the mom paid attention. Did not apologize and we were the ones to go tell the staff. I would not put the hotel as fully responsible for the incident, but I do feel there are ways to prevent it, like paying attention to guests following the rules and unfortunately to have to remind parents to pay full attention. Maybe not allow under a certain age in the hot tub even with a parent present. I also did not like another occasion in the spa we could not find where to turn on the jets. We also look forward to the waffle maker at breakfast that other places offer, this place did not have that option.
