Homewood Suites by Hilton Sioux Falls

Good breakfast and nice clean room, Friendly staff. Bed was ok but pillows were a little soft and flimsy, but we slept ok. Plenty of free parking.

Pool and hot tub was a little worn and looked like the bottom of each was faded so it looked dirty to us, so we didn't go into either. The pool area was clean.

Where do I begin with this place. We stayed here twice-on our way to South Dakota, and on our way back home. On our way there I accidentally left a few things in the room: razor in the shower, and 2 wet bathing suits and a $60 pair of men’s Hollister sweatpants that we had tried to get a stain out of and were wet. All the wet items were put in one of the hotel’s laundry sacks and forgotten on a bed. When we unloaded the car later that evening we called the hotel and since it was about 5pm we were told housekeeping was better reached in the morning, so to call back the next day. We did, and were told nothing had been found/reported, but they would “look”. I wasn’t too worried, because we would be back at the end of the week and could get our things then. Still, we called a few days later. The woman at the front desk was rude, argumentative, defensive, and actually HUNG UP ON my very polite husband. Needless to say, we were very angry at this point. Our things were 100% left in the room, because we did not have them. I had to buy 2 bathing suits for my kids on our trip. We got back to the hotel for our second stay. Still, nothing was “logged” as found by housekeeping. I don’t think it takes a rocket scientist to figure out what happened to our nearly brand new expensive sweat pants and brand new bathing suits. Not to mention, after returning from dinner there were 9 small black ants crawling all over the nightstand between the 2 beds, and when I shifted it to see if there were more, I found 2 diapers and a bottled water cap behind. Absolutely disgusting.

This has become our new favorite hotel in Sioux Falls. For our family function, the outside courtyard and fire place was fantastic. Rooms are oversized and clean. Love the touch of Crabtree and Evelyn products.

Breakfast was good but there were times it was empty of food and we had to wait awhile to get things replenished.

Great stay, really clean, dog friendly, great location! Breakfast bar was amazing!

Cold shower. Creepy desk person. King sheets too small for the bed.
