Stained ceiling in shower, ripped carpet in room.

We arrived at 9:30 after a day of travel to find out they didn’t have our reservation. I had my confirmation. I didn’t want to hear whose problem it was, or why it might have happened. I just wanted the room I had paid for. They didn’t have any ready. An hour later someone came to clean the last room they had in the hotel. Why not have all your rooms clean in case they have issues like this? We sat in the lobby for an hour. No lights were turned on, nothing offered. Water, a snack. No apology or anything to make us feel like the customer service was being given. Instead I was made to feel like since I booked through hotels.com it was my problem, I must have had made the error. I’ve used this website for corporate travel the last 8 years. This was the first issue of this kind I’ve run into. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again. We have family in Temple and will look for other options next time.

The initial room we were given was dirty. There was dirty towels in the coffee table, the bed had been slept in, and the restroom was dirty. The second room we were given had a smell to it and I didn’t feel comfortable. We ended the stay really short.

The hotel wasn't bad for the money. My main concern was while we were gone from our room, housekeeping cleaned it, but when they left the room, they left the door open. When I went to let the front desk know about it, I noticed several other doors also left open.

This place was disgusting and unsanitary. It makes sense why they make these rooms non refundable. They know decent people will want their money back for how disgusting they keep these rooms. I pulled up the sheet and it had urine stains and whatever other stains there were. The doors and walls were not clean sticky to the touch actually. There was no remote and after requesting one I was never answered back or given one. There was no lighting except acouple of lamps. It was very gloomy and dirty. I left immediately.

The front desk staff, barely spoke a word when we checked in, the room furniture were outdated & dirty. The couch in our room was really dirty! Housekeeping still accessed our room even after we placed the privacy hanger on the door, very unacceptable!

The lady that checked me in was very sweet, kind, polite, professional. A very warm heart. Thank you!
