Clean room, good breakfast, very nice staff, walking distance to restaurants.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was updated and clean.

The room had an extremely small refrigerator with no freezer!! This is the first Fairfield Inn I’ve stayed that didn’t have a freezer in the fridge. The room was very small, as was the parking lot. Apparently, the lot has been in construction for over a year…although we didn’t see anyone working while we were there (3 days). Parking spots were blocked off and a large dumpster was in the way as well. There was no accommodation for boat parking whatsoever. Just a pretty below average experience overall.

When i arrived to check in, there was a black lady behind the counter who was constantly complaining because housekeeping did not put the rooms that were ready in the computer. She was cursing and saying GD. As a christian I was offended by her language and attitude.

Carpet and Bathroom sink was not clean.

Breakfast on Friday was excellent. We really enjoyed it. They had fresh fruit and they had ham and cheese croissants. The next day on Saturday morning, the breakfast went downhill considerably. The oatmeal was very runny. There was no fresh fruit. There were no bananas, and there was no signature breakfast item like the previous days, ham and cheese croissant. The pool was very nice. Each seat should’ve had cushions and it though I did not see any cookies or waters or snacks left out not sure if those were supposed to be there or not.

When we arrived at the hotel on Friday, it was not a parent who was supposed to even check us in or where the check-in was located. The man did not say hello. He simply said we’re under renovations and we’ve been under renovation since November. There were three workmen trying to install a desk cabinet area, and on the other side was an area with a computer. A woman came in and out two or three times and with each we ask are you supposed to be helping us check in. The man after asking 3 to 4 times finally said he would check us in in a minute. We probably waited about 20 minutes before he would even look at us or speak to us. It was a very disappointing start to the stay. He was extremely unfriendly. After we checked our things out and came back out they were gluing carpeting. Very very high toxic glue smell. They are in the lobby. See my above notes for the breakfast. First day was great. Second day was not great at all. The room had a lot of mishmash Colors. Nothing matched. The bed was fine though it was clean. We were glad to see a refrigerator in there and wish her microwave had been included. The pool was nice. Could’ve had cushions around the pool, though there were some a few cushions. Our main problem was the way that the staff for checking and treated us unbelievable, customer service, and unacceptable.

The staff and their friendly demeanor, day and night shift, made our stay quite enjoyable. They made us feel welcome and appreciated !

Nice staff. Clean even during renovations. Great breakfast!
