The hall way smelled like smoke, the hall carpets were very dirty. My room had a broken toilet seat, and the tub was cracked. There was a hole in the bathroom door. The staff said the hall carpet was planned to be cleaned and was receptive to my criticism. The staff were friendly and helpful.

My kids was disappointed the pool wasn’t open like we thought. It wasn’t that clean I had to literally wipe down spray myself. It was that dirty! Smoke detectors wasn’t working in the room, air wasn’t blowing correctly. It was cheap for three nights. I guess u get what you pay for. I made home Sunday and Monday tested positive for Covid. I’m want be staying at this hotel again!

Maid service is a bit lacking unless you request full services. I always had clean towels and wash rags, but if you wanted the bed made, floor swept of coffee restocked you had to request it. When I requested it, they did a great job. To ME, these are things that should not have to be requested but that is just me.

I wish I had anything positive to say. Instead, just don’t stay here. We drove cross country in January and this was the worst of the many hotels and motels we stopped in. This hotel was filthy. Grime everywhere. Stained rug. Mold around the sink drain. Filthy doorknobs and light switches. Curtains with torn, sagging hems. It had the thinnest towels I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The person at the front desk sat with his back to the hallway and literally had no idea who was coming and going. It felt not quite safe to us. Breakfast? A couple of prepackaged stale tiny muffins that were quickly gone. We were so exhausted from a six hour drive we didn’t have the strength to check out and go someplace else for the night. But we woke up and got out as fast as we could in the morning. I didn’t even want to take a shower in the gross tub. Awful place.

Don’t let the newly remolded fool you. Rooms were disgustingly dirty and smelled like smoke. Floors in bathroom appeared not to have been mopped and the tub was dirty. Beds were stained. Clerk on duty offered at 10% reduction but that never materialized.

A pleasant experience.
