Old Mill Toronto Hotel

Great value for money for Toronto! The room was clean and very quiet, with both tub and shower, and a cute fake fireplace you could turn on/off. The hotel’s well-kept and close to a metro station. The parking’s free and we could leave our car there even after we checked out.

The only minuses: - you can’t fully close the window curtains - there were instructions on how to use the minibar but the fridge was empty - the evening receptionist said we could get our receipt in the morning, but the morning receptionists said they couldn’t provide it - the onsite restaurant is expensive

Staff was very friendly

Rooms were tiny and run down. If there was a wedding going on the facilities available to regular guests were limited. Restaurants were closed or on modified hours.

An unusual hotel, built in older style, site of an old mill. The restaurant was smart and and had been refurbished in recent years. The rest of hotel was a little tired, but kept clean and functional. Location was great - between airport and CBD - meant we didn't have to navigate Toronto traffic when driving down to Niagara or seeing friends to west of Toronto. Breakfast was very good - a la carte and good value. Friendly staff at front desk and serving in restaurant.

General areas and room could benefit from some updating. No drinks / food served after 11am to c. 6pm (when dinner service started). Shame as could make a nice meeting place. The next door venue, aprt of same building complex, is a wedding venue - this resulted in some noise outside late at night.

Great property, nice room, old charm. Hand carved wooden furniture and accents, fireplace in the room and jetted tub. Overall It was a nice place to stay. Its not city center, but if you need this location its a good property.

The toilets sound like a fighter jet sonic boom. You can hear other people flushing the toilet several rooms away or above you in the middle of the night. Really strange. The curtains in the room could not be fully closed, allowing sunlight in the morning to wake you. I also found the fireplace in the room not very straight forward to operate - there was a hidden switch that was not placed on the fireplace and there was no directions or signage to find it that I noticed.

My partner and I attended the dinner theater wedding and had a fabulous time enjoyed the entertainment and the food was incredible.
