Holiday Inn & Suites Ocean City by IHG

Hotel is in a great location. Very clean and friendly staff. Coral Reef restaurant has excellent food! Also liked getting text messages to see how our stay was going.

Great location. The hotel is well decorated for holidays. The housekeepers are great. Their service is excellent. The front desk has wonderful staff who are always ready to assist with any questions or concerns. We like this hotel and we enjoy coming to this hotel every year around the holidays. Please see the next comments about the presence of a group of individuals (this is the second year we have seen them) in the hotel causing some disruptions with some weird noise and behaviors.

The presence of a large group of people who blocked the entrance of the pool, took off their shoes and left the shoes in the hallway for hours. The entire hallway was blocked and was difficult to get access to the gym and pool. The hotel is a public space and these individuals must behave according to the rules. The hallway covered with shoes was really an ugly scene. Please make sure to provide them directions and these individuals must understand that hotels are not their private spaces.

I liked that it is conveniently located and the restaurant was open the whole time.

Housekeeping didn't come everyday so there was a build up of trash in the room.

We have been coming here for years, and we especially love the HI at Christmastime when the lobby and restaurant are decorated so beautifully for the holiday! While we were here this visit, we had new pans in the kitchen, thick new pillows, and a brand new hair dryer. Everything was spotless and well appointed in our rooms (we had two rooms to accommodate our family). It was nice and relaxing to be able to cook and have meals in our room since there is a full kitchen with all we needed to make breakfast and lunch. We visited the restaurant/bar several times and had very good service (hi, Gabe!) and our son enjoyed the indoor pool. A treat when it is in the low 30’s outside! The beds are very comfortable, the bathroom has lots of towels and toiletries, and a big jacuzzi tub with a rain shower. Having an oceanfront balcony with a gorgeous view never gets old for us, too. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how friendly and helpful the staff is, and they even greet you in passing and ask if you need anything. There is a reason we keep coming back every year, and look forward to seeing our HI friends!

No walking showers available, poor lighting and why is the pool in the middle of the restaurant?

The size of the suite was great. The restaurant food was good! Although we did not want to eat in the restaurant with the pool right there, we took the food to our room and was happy to do so!

The shower heads needed replacing. Other than that, I was satisfied
