Hampton Inn & Suites Springfield

Picked this chain as we'd had a positive experience in one in Wyoming, room was a good size and there was a decent free breakfast the next day. Convenient for the highway and where we wanted to be.

Not as good as some of the other Hilton group hotels we had stayed in this trip.

Location and staff

No restaurant or bar, but there were options close by.

Easy, friendly check in process

Everything was just the way we expected it to be. Staff was friendly, check-in was smooth and quick, and room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good, although not a lot of options.

In town for a funeral. HC room was great. Staff friendly & accommodating. Renovations nice. Would stay again.

While in the bathroom, I could hear the person in the bathroom above me pooping as if they were in a stall next to me. Both nights I was there, I laid awake, listening to the people above me walk back-and-forth with the ceiling creaking…they were loudly up late, multiple times during the night, and up early. The room to one side of me had a snorer that felt like I was in the same room with and the person on the other side of me had a CPAP machine. When I go to a hotel, I just want two things: it’s clean and the bed is comfortable enough/quiet enough to sleep. This hotel was clean, the staff was nice, the bed was average, but it was definitely not quiet.
