Mt Hood Oregon Resort, BW Premier Collection

Great people working at this location.

The staff was nice and the room was good. It was about a 30-minute drive to Mt. Hood Meadows from the location. The restaurant on-site isn't the best and it is pricy. The location does not have a free breakfast, they give you $8 off for every adult that dines at the restaurant (yes, kids do not count and they will not accept the vouchers for kids, we tried). There are some local food options nearby but if you are staying for a bit and are tired of the local options, the next closest options are roughly 20-25 minutes away.

Mt. Hood Oregon Resort is a motel with some good and some bad features. The rooms are well-appointed, large, and have comfortable beds. Construction quality is somewhat cheap, with thin walls, unusually noisy cooling/heating units, and a bathtub (on the first floor) that backed up with sewage when the area received heavy rainfall. We informed the front desk, who assured us that the bathtub would receive a thorough cleaning, but the tub was not cleaned during our stay, quite surprising for what is potentially a serious heath issue. The location is okay for skiers, about 15 minutes away from Ski Bowl, 25 minutes from Timberline, and 45 minutes from Mt. Hood Meadows.

room was large, nice walkin shower and the grounds were like a park and we enjoyed using the fireplace. heated pool was great as well

Our pet room was perfect with a patio that opened to a fenced wooded area for pets. Our room had a wood burning fireplace and the Kingsized bed was comfy. The outdoor jacuzzi and heated swimming pool were wonderful. the grounds are beautiful. The restaurant rocked it. Delicious food and fantastic servers. We will definitely be back.

Stayed here many times through the years and love the year round pool and beautiful location. However, the rooms have not been updated in a while, there was no maid service, and for the second time in a row, I did not get the type of room I reserved. There was no apology- just passed the buck because I didn't make the reservation directly through the hotel. Their restaurants have great food but much shorter hours or closed, and no longer offer the continental breakfast, just a voucher for $8, which helps on a $19 breakfast. There were 3 servers and 4 customers at breakfast and I had to go up to the bar twice to get water refills while the staff was chatting about a baby shower. They were very nice but there seems to be a training issue. The hot cocoa, water and coffee station in the lobby was no longer there on our most recent visit. The spa no longer offers many basic treatments and doesn't seem to have any consistent staff, hours or location. It is by appointment only. It was some of these special details that made us love this hotel for many years. They seem to fill up with lots of skiers in the winter and weddings in the spring/summer because of the beautiful location and available activities, but customer service is not what it used to be. However, the customer service and friendliness at the golf course is excellent and the courses are beautifully maintained. I'd recommend this hotel but wish they'd add back some of the amenities and attention to detail.

The lady who checked us in wasn't very friendly, but everyone else I talked to was! Service, food & friendliness in the Altitude R. was excellent!

I would definitely stay here again! The staff was great! The food was great (other than the continental breakfast, plan on something else, this was not great) but we brought our own breakfast already. Overall pretty great.

Overall our stay was good, but the one thing that really bothered me is the bed sheets were too small for the bed and the elastic was worn out, so the sheets kept coming off and bunching up.
