Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Acme-Traverse City by IHG

Room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was awesome.

This hotel is well situated. It's a little tired. Amazing how expensive Travers City is.

We were on the third floor and was able to see the sunset across the bay nightly. Beautiful view of the bay.

Footprints on the bathroom tile. Grungy, water damage in bathroom and a strange insistence on getting my license plate before I could get a room key. Will not be returning.

Overall, solid stay.

This hotel was terrible. The smell from the bathroom was so bad that we lasted about 5 minutes in the room. When we left I asked for a refund and the front desk person said I'd have to talk with Expedia. Expedia told me that I needed to get Holiday Inn to approve the reimbursement. They refused. I just called the manager and asked for a refund because we couldn't stay in the room because of the smell. She went on the attack said I had caused a scene-- I had very quietly told the front desk person that we'd be leaving because of the smell. Terrible service. Dirty/smelly room.
