Village Inn Clemmons-Winston Salem, Trademark by Wyndham

This hotel is old and in need of renovation. The room we had was dark and depressing. Primary color scheme was "brown!" Clerks were apathetic; barely greeting us when we arrived and not smiling. Obviously not a great place to work. The only staff that were smiling and helpful were the cleaning staff. Would never recommend or stay here again.

Village Inn in Clemmons NC is safe, clean, comfortable, beautiful, and peaceful. I loved the FOUR pillows per bed, & ample lenens. Staff were very helpful and considerate. The pool and area was clean, and not over crowded. I very much enjoyed the large garden areas with seating, areas for grilling, and a gazebo.

The price fluctuates greatly week to week.

Looks like a large older hotel with some renovation. Room clean.Linens clean. Had dehumidifier in room that cut on and off through night. Temperature regulation was difficult and heat/ air conditioning cut on and off frequently and it’s loud. A/C fanned air directly toward bed. Thus alternating between too warm and too cold. Pack breakfast was a joke. Oatmeal to warm up with hot water in room. Tiny packet of peach’s and a cracker. Didn’t eat any of it. Wish I had stayed elsewhere.

Clean facility. Beds and linens were very comfortable.

Rooms were advertised as having free breakfasts, however, breakfast was only available on Sat/Sun. There weren't any on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Not even a place to get coffee. That seems like false advertising to me. The air conditioning in the room was configured (motion sensors) to shut off when the room was unoccupied. However, when we set the temperature for sleep comfort, the unit would shut off shortly after we went to bed (lack of motion). That made it nearly impossible to sleep. Terrible design! There were other poor designs in the room and bathroom.

Good mattress.
