Rodeway Inn St Joseph

I couldn’t stay the second night. Hair between the sheet that looked already used. Spiders and webs in the room. Weird self done fixes. Disappointing.

The location and price were the only positive. However, you get what you pay for.

The bathroom stunk of musky urine. The shower did not look clean. Neither us of used it cause of that. There was a nasty stain on one of the pillowcases. Pillows were super thin as well as the comforter was extremely thin. Bedding needs updated. Bed was not comfortable. I will not stay here again nor would I recommend to anyone.

The motel is family owned by extremely kind and friendly people. I felt very welcomed throughout my stay. I definitely recommend staying here!

Marked as a hotel was a motel it was dark and dirty did not feel safe shady people hanging around our room did not stay

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was neat however, there were small bugs in the bathroom and the blow dryer was broken. The pool was out of service.

Check in was smooth. Room was mostly clean, a few gnats in the sink (I assumed previous guests rinsed away sugary liquids:food) and some dust rinsed away but no other worries. Room smelled of stale smoke and was supposed to be no smoking. Neighbor appeared to be a permanent or long term resident who smoked outside our door usually, but he was kind enough to go downstairs and go to the backside of the building to smoke during our stay, so we didn’t mind. Very competitive rates for short notice booking. pool is closed down (as pictured, but i did not notice) Housekeeping was super nice during check out. 10 mins away from the beach.

Could be a bit more clean. Mattress protectors were not properly intact but no bugs.

Staff was friendly. Located near restaurants/gas stations.

Location was great, near town and activities but the condition of the hotel wasn’t inviting. The bathroom was very dark and overall poor cleanliness.
