NH Hamburg Altona

Perfekte Lage, supernette Mitarbeiter, kostenfrei geparkt, Zimmer mit Balkon und schöne kleine Saunaanlage auf dem Dach mit Zugang zu einer Terrasse. Traumhafter Blick bis zum Fernsehturm. Frühstücksbuffet habe ich leider nicht in Anspruch nehmen können. Sah aber gut aus. Ich komme wieder!

Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig, das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Lage ist super. Tolle Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Die Betten sind sehr gut.

Das Frühstück war früher abwechslungsreicher und es gab mehr Regionalität.

Das Frühstück am Sonntag ist eine Katastrophe! U.a.Selbstservice

1) The guy at the reception during checkin behave wierdly. I showed him that the payment is commited over booking.com but he did not beleive me and asked me for a credit card as a safety deposit. I never had such experience at any other hotel in Germany (a country where mostly people use debit cards, like me). He made me pay at the counter before letting us in. The payment was already commited by booking.com. His body language and the way he talked was not acceptable and not welcoming at all. No receiptionist would treat the guests like this. 2) I booked nh hotel because i had really good experience at nh dresden. But this one was disapointing. Room was not carpetted. very congested room. and even the bathroom was very small and gave a wierd old apartment feeling. 3) despite making the booking months ago, they kept sending msges/mail that we do not gurantee a king size bed, it all depends on the availability. if it all depends on the current availability, what is the point of 'Advance booking'! However, they did give us a king size bed and a very uncomortable side bed for our daughter which was not suitable for anyone to sleep.
