Residence Inn Charlotte SouthPark

The most abysmal parking availability I have ever seen. Tiny, tiny car spaces; if you are lucky enough to find one. Good luck you will need it. Disgusting. Who ever designed this fuster cluck was a total idiot.

Spacious accommodations, full breakfast, quiet, and helpful staff with all my questions.

Third-party parking. I never got a receipt, even after contacting the company.

Sparkling clean

The location was great and the room was clean.

There was a gap in the bathroom door and even when closed you could see inside the bathroom. I turned on the heat and the heater was extremely loud which made it difficult to sleep.

This was my fourth day at this property, and I have to say it is convenient to South Park Mall, along with plenty of shopping and restaurants. If that’s your thing, it’s a little tucked off the main road in a somewhat awkward location, but again, it’s close to everything; it’s just tucked away. The rooms are fantastic—newer, updated, always clean, and well-equipped. The parking situation is a bit funky, as there are two different parking lots, and you can pay by app for parking. The front desk staff is okay, but nothing special. Sometimes they’re nice and friendly, while other times they’re not so pleasant, depending on who you encounter. However, I don’t really need much from them anyway. The breakfast setup is nice, but I always opt to eat out since it’s just your average, lower-end breakfast options. I really like the rooms; they’re well-equipped and clean, which is what keeps me coming back here. There's also a great restaurant within walking distance called 131 Main. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Charlotte—slightly upscale but absolutely fantastic if you like Hillstone or Houston’s; it’s similar to that and literally across the street.

The location is great, close to several restaurants and the area itself is really nice.

The breakfast was poor with no variety. But the worst is the quality of food. It's all not tasty. The room was quiet, but the doors close very noisy. I woke up every time someone entered its room at nights.

The room was comfortable. I like that it felt like a studio apartment.

My toilet was messed up the whole time but I managed. I don’t like paying for parking when I already paid a lot for the room. That will deter me from coming back.

Staff was great, Very clean and huge kitchenette. My family enjoyed ourselves.
