Didnt like being woken at 4am due to fire alarm. Not the hotel fault and would of acceoted it if staff dealt with it properly. Instead, the fire alarm was continuously silenced, reset and then went off again. After about 15 minutes of this i got up and went to check. Staff said fault. I said whats the fault, ive dealt with many fire alarms, he said it wont reset but was resetting it and not understanding the issue. I said its not a fault on a detector its a call point. I went to the location it said on the fire panel (main staircase) and found the problem was someone had oressed the call point and needed resetting. The other member of staff who was on the phone to the manager appeared after finding some keys as the manager realised the issue too. She said do you know how to do it i said yes and proceeded to reset the call point, went to the reception checked the panel was fine and said its done im going to bed. In the morning i asked for a partial refund due to the issue and explained the above to the receptionist who said no refund would be given but i could email to complain and pointed to the business card on the desk. I didnt bother as not great service at all and clearly was wasting my time. Shame really as i use the hotel a few times a year due to its ideal location but due to the poor customer service and lack of training on night team i doubt i will return again.

Fantastic Food menu so much to choose from. Rooms are really comfortable. Staff are so helpful and allways have a smile on there faces. Sometimes they can be overrun .
