Hampton Inn Columbus I-70E/Hamilton Road

Our room wasn't cleaned properly before check in. There was hair all over the bathroom floor and it looked like the tub hasn't been scrubbed in a while. Breakfast was okay normal Hampton breakfast.

The breakfast wasn't bad. And it was right along my route.

The place was really worn down. The microwave didn't work the carpet was filthy and the floor wasn't flat..

Front Desk Clerk was excellent getting us checked in and taking care of directions, dinner choices, and amenities from the hotel! Much appreciated!

The front desk woman was very friendly and took care of a booking issue I had. The room was straightened up every day by housekeeping (3night stay), I was not expecting that. The breakfast was well maintained by the woman who ran that. She was very friendly and funny! Found out that the property was under new management and that they will be renovating but overall the facility was well maintained. They were even power washing the heat/ac units the day we were leaving.

The hotel need some updates. The room had chair with spots, bathroom had hair in soap dish, on the toilet and in the shower. The carpet had stains.

No clean towels. Hallways did not have a good smell. Bathroom inside room was nasty. Customer service was terrible.

I booked two rooms at this hotel through hotels.com and have an email confirming it. However when I got to the hotel, they stated they only had one room reserved for us, and had no more rooms available. We made it work but I’ve not had this occur before, and would like to feel confident it won’t happen again. Also; the bathtub was badly stained.
