Casa Mexicana Cozumel

We have stayed many times here at Casa Mexicana…The included breakfast is very good…Price was a little higher than normal this time, but we booked it last minute…The staff were most attentive and friendly especially the breakfast buffet staff…

Conveniently located a few blocks from the town square and ferry port. The pool area overlooking the sea is a relaxing place to cool off. Very clean rooms and public areas, good breakfast, and helpful staff. It’s handy to have a 7-11 downstairs.

5🌟 from us!! Parking is difficult but if you don't mind having to walk a few blocks like us, it's ok as there will always be parking somewhere along the strip. The hotel itself is located above 7-11 and a little boutique which makes it so easy for quick snacks & shopping. Casa Mexicana is conveniently located near many restaurants, stores, & about a 10-12 minute walk to Plaza Del Sol. The hotel staff is amazing!! Very friendly, polite, & helpful. There's a pool (3' deep) but still great to take a load off & chill. It is open from 9am-9pm. Ample amount of poolside furniture! The bar right next to the pool area is a great addition if you'd like a drink. You get free breakfast every day from 7am-11am & it was sooooo good! Every day there was something different to try. Eggs were made right in the buffet line, how you like it. You could ask for pancakes, waffles, & bread as well. There was also a section of fresh cut fruit which was a delicious ending to a wonderful breakfast! Their fresh squeezed juice choices while we were there was grapefruit & orange & they were fabulous! The coffee was so good, I had to buy a bag to bring home! We stayed in Room 203 & boy, what a stunning view of the Gulf!!! Our room was cool, clean, & very inviting! Tons of pillows!!! I think our only little issue was the mini fridge didn't have door shelves & tipped forward so items rolled out from the bottom shelf. Other than that, amazing hotel! Highly recommend & plan to stay again next visit!!

Hotel was great. Clean rooms, staff was really friendly, and the beds were comfy although the pillows were very large, little too big to sleep on. Breakfast at the hotel was great with a big selection of food from buffet style Mexican cuisine along with eggs/omelet of your choice, fruit, yogurt, pancakes, waffles, etc. Poole was nice with a great view with lots of lounge area. Great location to walk everywhere with lots of shops, bars and restaurants. We rented a car and found it fairly easy to find parking when needed. Overall the hotel was quiet but we could hear the morning breakfast set up at 6am, and people in the lobby until about 10pm, along with the birds singing in the trees out of the front door. No street noise though. Only thing we didn't like about the area is that we couldn't walk down the street without constantly harassed to buy things. It was a bit much.

Did not hold the room that I requested but I was a day late because Dallas airport was closed because of weather.

We had a great stay at Casa Mexicana Cozumel and were especially impressed with the staff and service—everyone was friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectations with a wide assortment of choices, including several healthy options. The hotel’s common areas were definitely a highlight—the lobby, pool, and bar all offered comfortable spaces to relax and unwind. We also loved the location, which was super convenient for exploring the local scene. There were plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance. While our hotel room was a a bit dated and tended to feel humid, we didn’t spend much time there, so it wasn’t a major issue for us. Overall, the positives far outweighed the negatives, and we’d absolutely consider staying here again.
