Marigot Beach Club and Dive Resort

Vybavení pokoje bylo již starší, ale udržované, postele byly skvělé a polštáře velmi příjemné. Hotel je na přístupný pouze malým trajektem, který je pro hosty zdarma a jezdí téměř nepřetržitě. Tím je areál víceméně jen pro ubytované hosty. Z našeho hotelového pokoje byl nádherný výhled do zálivu a na krásnou večerní oblohu.

Na snídani v ceně byl malý výběr: toastový chléb, máslo, šunka/salám/sýr, džem, trochu ovoce, jogurt, dětské cereálie a dvě vejce připravené dle Vaší preference - člověk se najedl, ale každý den to samé se velmi rychle omrzí. Personál byl hodně laxní a o často se stalo, že si hosté museli o jídlo říkat, aby např. doplnili nebo zprovoznili kávovar apod. V oknech pokoje nebyli sítě a postele byly bez moskytiéry, takže jsme po celý pobyt bojovali s komáry. Internetové připojení pokrývalo jen část našeho apartmánu.

L’hôtel est très agréable avec un emplacement superbe. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables.

Au niveau des petits déjeuners, l’horaire d’ouverture est à 8h hors le personnel commence à installer vers 8h10 donc au mieux le service complet commence entre 9h et 9h30. Pour le ménage de la chambre, Check in le samedi et nous avons du aller réclamer le lundi (soit après 2 nuits sans ménage) afin que le ménage soit fait. Au bar aucun service, personnel non accueillant, personne ne vient prendre la commande, nous avons du aller au bar puis nous avons du ramener nous même nos verres. Dans la chambre au niveau de la kitchenette, 1 fourchette pour 2 personnes !!, pas de poêle, pas de dessous de plat, pas de tire bouchon …

Bed was comfortable, good WiFi, ac working, location beautiful. Enjoyed hike which is accessible from hotel grounds.

Service was terrible - check in took over an hour and a half- when we finally got to the room it turned out housekeeping was still cleaning the room… likewise checkout took 20 minutes as receptionist kept putting the checkout on pause to answer 5-10 minute long phone calls..which is crazy for checkout when most people have a taxi waiting..Everyone we encountered were frustrated with staff for similar reasons. also, Staff seem to run on “island time” which gets old quick - I.e ham and cheese and breakfast only being out out an hour after breakfast service starts.. Facilities generally weren’t clean -I.e pool looked mouldy on edge Breakfast included was very poor quality, was basically just toast, egg and low quality slime ham (and American plastic burger cheese) would not recommend. Generally felt emotions ranging from disappointed to frustrating throughout our stay.

Location is delightful.

Noises of motorised blowing machine for cleaning/drying at meal times; roar of the leaf blower for gardening for long hours during the day.
